Are all Accounting software programs compatible with Excel?

Accounting corporations usually use their own accounting software programs. Are all accounting software programs compatible with Excel? In other words, can data be transferred into Excel files?

   Not all programs are compatible.

   There are too many software programs out there for any one person to know whether they are all compatible with Excel. Most of the programs that run in Windows should have a feature that allows you to export data (which can then be imported into Excel), and occasionally, you will find a program that allows limited imports from Excel.
