How many tax forms should I have to fill up?

In 2007, I worked in Indiana until May & thereafter moved to California to work for a different company. Therefore, I have recieved two W-4 forms, one from each company. So should I file one tax return form for Indiana state, one for California & two forms for the Federal return? Or is should I file just one form for California (where I’m currently residing) & one for Federal?
